Belief
Personal finance software should show its work.
Retail users are often asked to trust screenshots, closed backtests, opaque rankings, and platform claims. We want the research trail to be visible enough to inspect.
Company
PineForge is building consumer fintech for people who want to test, verify, and understand market systems for themselves. PineForge the product is one proof point. 4pass is another. The company direction is broader: open, transparent, researchable finance for individual users.
Belief
Retail users are often asked to trust screenshots, closed backtests, opaque rankings, and platform claims. We want the research trail to be visible enough to inspect.
Direction
Our products help users run tests, compare evidence, and carry their own workflows into execution. We do not rank strategies, custody funds, or tell users what to buy.
Now
A public proof layer for strategy research: reproducible backtests, validated corpora, hosted MCP, local Docker, and strategy-pool optimization work in progress.
Live
A production automated-trading platform that connects TradingView-style alerts to broker execution through isolated worker infrastructure.
Next
The user workspace that ties research, billing, data, compute, optimization, and eventually paper/live workflows into one account-owned credit pool.
Founder
PineForge is currently a one-person company led by Hao-Liang Wen. The work sits at the intersection of scientific computing, AI systems, trading infrastructure, and consumer-grade product design.
